The CA1 automation controller enables smart home owners interested in lighting, security and temperature control to enjoy an orchestrated smart home experience. The CA1 is designed to appeal to home builders, MDU developers, B&B’s and hoteliers, giving them a way to differentiate with the inclusion of the most sought-after smart home experience.
Home buyers and builders now expect a smart home experience. Just adding two or three smart devices, whether smart locks, intercom or security, smart lighting, or heat pump and air conditioner, will leave the home owner feeling disjointed or frustrated with the individual apps needed to control these basket of devices.
Designed specifically for smart home projects that desire lighting, comfort and security, the CA1 automation controller includes Ethernet, WiFi, Zigbee and serial communication and connectivity, leveraging Control4’s large database of 3rd party devices ensuring easy integration and interoperability.
Using the optional Z-Wave module, sold separably, enables the CA1 automation controller to be compatible with a selected set of control devices including door, window, water, flood and temperature sensors and electrical outlets and dimmer outlet modules. The CA1 also features Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) so that it can be installed virtually anywhere with a single network cable.
